I avoid anything google whenever possible for several reasons, one of which being that Al Gore is a "Senior Adviser" to the company. _________________ "Civilisation is an interlude between Ice Ages, the next one is already overdue; perhaps global warming has arrived just in tine to save us." ~ Will and Ariel Durant in Story of Civilisation |

| It is very very quick. It currently parses Javascript faster than any browser. There's a Firefox plugin coming out that will make it faster than chrome. I was impressed though. Google just signed an extension for another 3 years with FireFox, but I don't think it'll go beyond that |

FireFox came out with their latest beta before 3.1 official release which matches if not beats chrome's speed. So far, it's a very stable beta release.
Chrome is so loaded with information gathering software that I uninstalled it and downloaded the open source file so that I can weed out unwanted files, tricky EULA's, and maybe change the UI a bit. |
